Culture Shock!

Our adoption agency does a great job of intoducing adoptive families to Chinese culture. We have three guides on this leg of the trip because our group is so large. We are traveling with twenty-two other Christian families. It has been amazing to hear how God has been at work in so many lives to bring this group together. Today we visited Tiananmen Square, The Forbidden City, the Pearl Factory, Summer Palace, the Silk Factory, and the Olympic area...with two traditional Chinese meals. It was a very busy day, but we are so thankful for the opportunity to learn about Will's heritage. Tomorrow we will attend an International church service and climb a portion of the Great Wall. We cannot wait to meet our little guy...one more day as a family of four! Hey Kai...we love and miss you soooo much!

  2. I was so excited to see an update...I'll probably be checking a million times a day! :) Sounds like you are having a great time! The time is almost here for you to meet your sweet son, and our nephew! We know first hand what that is like, as you feel the moment can't come fast enough. Savor your time there...it is the link your son will have to his heritage. You are in our prayers and thoughts. Love you all.
    Love,
    Rachel, T.C., Ali, and Clark
